There’s nothing ambiguous about this cover. “Cher” is about Cher. It says so in a colorful cursive handwriting along with a nice black-and-white close-up photo of Cher herself.

The subtitle is THE MEMOIR – PART ONE.

Part one?!

So this cover is telling us two things.

• It’s about Cher.
• It’s only half of Cher’s story.

Apparently,  Cher is going to take her sweet time in this book because she has to leave room for entire second volume. I’d rather see a fast paced bio in one volume than one that moves slowly across two.

(It also means, if you are interested in Cher, that you will have to wait for the second book to come out, and lay out more money.)
