“Well, take a gander at this, folks! ‘First Lie Wins’ by Ashley Elston. The cover’s got this house bathed in an eerie blue glow, with a silhouette in the doorway. I’d say it’s a thriller, but it looks more like someone forgot to pay the electric bill. The title – ‘First Lie Wins’ – reminds me of my last poker game. And look, it’s a New York Times bestseller and part of Reese’s Book Club. Well, if it’s good enough for Reese, it’s good enough for me. The big green letters make it look like the book is screaming at you, ‘Read me, or else!’ If you’re into mystery, suspense, and the occasional fib, this book’s got your name on it. Just don’t believe everything you read, except this review, of course.”
