JABBIC – Judge A Book By Its Cover

Girl A

Girl A

“Girl A” by Abigail Dean has a cover that screams drama and mystery with its stark black and yellow contrast. The intense close-up of half a face makes me feel like I’m about to dive into a psychological thriller—or maybe a very intense art critique. The “A” is so big, it’s practically shouting at me. I can’t help but wonder if this girl is getting graded or if she’s part of some alphabet soup. The endorsements plastered on the cover seem to be trying to convince me it’s good, but as a self-proclaimed art aficionado, I prefer my covers to whisper secrets rather than yell at me.

JABBIC Rating: ★★★☆☆
