JABBIC Great Big Beautiful Life Book Review

We practically needed SPF 50 to look at this cover—it’s blindingly loud, with its retina-searing orange and red backdrop. And for all that visual noise? There’s not much to see. A man and a woman sitting apart, the title hogging the center like it’s the main event, and some abstract bursts that might be art or might be the inside of a lava lamp.

We assume it’s a love story because, well, when isn’t it? But there’s zero clue what makes this story special—or why we should care. Emily Henry, the mega-selling author of Funny Story, wrote it, but honestly, we half expected this one to be called Confusing Story.

There’s also the obligatory Reese’s Book Club sticker. And while we know it’s Reese Witherspoon, it still makes us wonder when peanut butter cups got into the book biz.

JABBIC Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5)

Based on the Cover, We Think This Book Is About…
A man. A woman. And… that’s it. Maybe they meet cute over nachos. Or sit awkwardly until page 312. We’re reaching.
