The title of this book is Chelsea Handler— Oh wait, there is another title scribbled on here, almost as an afterthought: I’ll Have What She’s Having. It’s like Chelsea reluctantly allowed something besides her name to appear on the cover.
That said, it is a happy cover. But what exactly is happening? Chelsea (we assume) is draped in a feathered boa, sipping a cocktail, and wearing ski goggles and a wool cap—while gold confetti rains down on her. It’s a chaotic, contradictory scene that seems to say, “None of this makes sense, and I don’t care.” Honestly, the book might be more accurately titled Don’t You Wish You Were Me?
If you’re a Chelsea Handler fan, this cover is probably all you need. If you’re not, there’s nothing here to convince you otherwise. And if you don’t know who she is (we don’t), all you’re left with is an image of a party girl borrowing a famous line from When Harry Met Sally.
Based on the Cover, We Think This Book Is About…
Chelsea Handler is a party girl who just can’t wait to share all the fascinating things she’s done.
Rating: ★★☆☆☆ (2/5) (We’re being generous because it probably works for her fans.)
Chelsea Handler shares a mix of outrageous adventures and personal growth, from wild escapades and celebrity encounters to deep reflections on family, love, and self-discovery.
