The Art of Waves

Reviewed by Clark Little

“Oh great, ‘The Art of Waves’ by Clark Little. Because what we really need is another book reminding us how insignificant we are compared to the ocean. Look at this cover! It’s a massive, perfect wave, all shiny and blue. You see that? That’s nature mocking you, showing you what it can do while you’re struggling to find your car keys. And then we have a foreword by Kelly Slater, the guy who practically lives in the water. Of course, he loves it! If you want to feel both mesmerized and terrified by the ocean, this book’s got you covered. It’s beautiful, sure, but don’t kid yourself – the sea doesn’t care about you.”
