“The Frozen River” by Ariel Lawhon – Alright, let’s get this out of the way: the closest I’ve ever been to a frozen river is my morning smoothie. This cover’s got all the icy vibes of a winter wonderland, and I’m sitting here wrapped in three blankets just thinking about it. The snow, the frost, the whole wintry scene… I’m getting cold just looking at it! Not to mention, I’ve never traveled north of Florida in the winter – I prefer my weather sunny and my rivers unfrozen, thank you very much. This book cover looks like a postcard from the Arctic, and I’m already shivering in my flip-flops.

Rating: ★★★★☆

Summary: A cover that’s a frosty adventure for anyone brave enough to face the cold, unlike this Florida native.
