The Midnight Library by Matt Haig – Alright, so this cover looks like a trippy cross between a bedtime story and a workout routine. There are all these little icons showing people running, swimming, and even a cat just chilling. It’s like a mix of everything you could possibly do at midnight if you had way too much energy. As a college athlete who has to get up at the crack of dawn for practice, the idea of being up at midnight is almost comical. I’m usually in bed by 10 PM, dreaming of my next game. But hey, if this library has some magical powers that can get me out of early morning practices, I might just give it a shot. Just look at those relaxing book icons – maybe I could sneak in some extra nap time between chapters.

Rating: ★★★★☆

Summary

A quirky and intriguing cover that mixes late-night activities with a touch of whimsy, making even a jock like me curious about what lies inside.
