“The Night She Disappeared” by Lisa Jewell. Now, this cover has me intrigued! A pool, some eerie lighting, and an air of mystery. As a part bloodhound, I can tell you, I’d have sniffed out the clues in no time. The water imagery makes me think there might be a hidden scent trail just waiting to be followed. If only humans had my nose, they’d never lose track of anyone. Trust me, if there’s one thing I know, it’s how to find what’s been lost—whether it’s a missing person or that treat you hid last week.
