‘The Sixth History of Man’ by John Bershof, MD.   It’s like they took an ancient cave painting and slapped it on a purple background. We’ve got two stick figures reaching for the moon or doing some kind of ancient dance. What is this, a history book or a bedtime story for aliens?

And the title – “The Sixth History of Man.” What happened to the first five? Are we playing catch-up here? And who’s this John Bershof, MD? I didn’t know history required a medical degree. Maybe he’s prescribing some heavy doses of ancient wisdom.

But hey, if you’re into obscure, mystical interpretations of human history and enjoy a cover that looks like it was drawn by a caveman with a flair for modern art, this might just be your jam. Just don’t expect any straightforward answers – this one’s a puzzle wrapped in an enigma.

**Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Summary: “The Sixth History of Man” features a cover that’s as mysterious as it is minimalistic, with its cave painting-like art and vague title. Perfect for those who enjoy a good historical riddle and don’t mind a bit of artistic abstraction.
