JABBIC – Judge A Book By Its Cover

The Unwedding

The Unwedding

Oh, “The Unwedding” by Ally Condie, huh? The title alone hits a little too close to home, considering my two engagements that never made it to the altar. But hey, third time’s the charm, right?

Now, look at that cover. It’s a beautiful coastal scene with a bridge, suggesting this is a thriller set in a picturesque location. The bridge seems like a metaphor, don’t you think? Crossing over to new beginnings, or in this case, maybe just running away from the altar!

This book likely dives into some dramatic twists and turns, much like the winding roads of relationships. Here’s hoping the characters find their inner peace, unlike my past fiancés.

JABBIC Rating: ★★★☆☆

Summary: “The Unwedding” by Ally Condie promises a thrilling journey set against a stunning coastal backdrop. With dramatic twists and a metaphorical bridge, it’s a suspenseful tale of love, loss, and possibly dodging matrimony.
