Review: Well, I must say, this cover of “The Housemaid” by Freida McFadden caught me off guard. The image of an eye peering through a keyhole is downright provocative! It’s like walking into the church and finding a disco ball hanging from the ceiling. From behind closed doors, she sees everything. Now, that’s a tagline that will raise more than just a few eyebrows, if you know what I mean. The bold, yellow title and the deep blue background create a striking contrast, making the cover hard to miss. It’s a bit shocking, yet you can’t help but feel a bit curious, maybe even a tad… intrigued.
