Tits, Boobies and Loons: ARE ORNITHOLOGISTS OK?

Reviewed by Stu Royall

“Tits, Boobies and Loons” – well, if this isn’t a cover to make one blush! As a reverend, I must admit I was taken aback by the boldness of this title. Nature, it seems, has a rather cheeky sense of humor. The cover features an array of birds with names that sound more like insults than anything else. I can’t help but chuckle at the absurdity of it all. The expression on that bird’s face is priceless, as if it’s daring you to laugh at its name.  The book promises to be a hilarious exploration of ornithological nomenclature – a read that is sure to entertain and educate, all while making you snicker.

Rating: ★★★★☆
