“I Could Pee on This: And Other Poems by Cats” by Frncesco Marciuliano– As a highly intelligent and discerning dog, I find this cover to be quite the spectacle. A cat, brazenly perched beside a typewriter, with the gall to write poetry about peeing on things! If only I, Einstein, the very smart dog, could get away with such antics. The feline on the cover looks smug, as if daring me to outdo it in the literary arena. Perhaps it’s time to put aside my epic poem, The Walk, and consider a co-authorship with this daring kitty. I’m sure our combined wit could produce something even more memorable. Resentful as I may be of the liberties cats take, I can’t help but admire their audacity.
