The Beekeeper of Aleppo

Reviewed by Christy Lefteri

“The Beekeeper of Aleppo” by Christy Lefteri. Ah, a cover that makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. It’s got bees and flowers, and the colors are like a beautiful sunset. It’s practically begging me to grab some honey and herbal tea. But let’s be honest, the title makes me wonder if this beekeeper has the same problems as the bees in my garden—like getting chased by giant bumblebees or dealing with pollen allergies. The font looks like it was brushed on with a painter’s delicate touch, adding to the artistic flair. If this book is as sweet as honey and as deep as a hive, we’re in for a treat!

Rating: ★★★★☆

Summary: A cover that’s as sweet and artistic as a sunset-painted hive.
