Ah, “Agency” by William Gibson. This cover seems to be a homage to the era of blurry vision without glasses. The image is so vague, I almost thought I was looking at one of my old history slides before the projector came into focus. One can only imagine the clarity that lies within the pages, given the deliberate obfuscation on the cover. Quite the intellectual tease, wouldn’t you agree? And the circular arrow—does it imply we’ll be going round in circles, much like my students during finals? A curious choice indeed.
Rating: ★★★★★
Summary: A visually ambiguous cover that hints at layers of complexity and intrigue. Ideal for those who enjoy their literature with a side of mystery.
