My, oh my, what a cover this is! “Awesome Sh*t My Drill Sergeant Said” by Dan Caddy certainly knows how to make a bold statement. The skull with the drill sergeant’s hat and the crossed rifles is quite the intense visual. It brings back memories of my brief and regrettable stint in the military. Yes, that’s right—I tried, and let’s just say, I was not exactly cut out for the rigorous life of a soldier. This cover, however, promises a collection of wit and wisdom that I might have missed out on. The title alone is enough to make one chuckle, if not blush a little. I’m guessing this book is filled with the kind of tough love and brutal honesty that only a drill sergeant can deliver. Quite the intriguing read for those who can handle the heat!
