‘How to Catch a Dinosaur’ by Adam Wallace & Andy Elkerton. Really? How to catch a dinosaur? What, were ‘How to Pet a Tiger’ and ‘How to Befriend a Shark’ already taken? The cover looks like it was designed by someone who watched too many Saturday morning cartoons. A neon-green dinosaur prancing around like it’s just another day in Jurassic Park. Oh, and look at those dino eggs. Aren’t they adorable?

This book promises nothing but chaos. I can already hear the sound of kids trying to build dino traps in the backyard and getting into all sorts of trouble. The bright, over-the-top colors make it clear: this book is here to hype up your kids and give you a headache.

Rating: ★★☆☆☆ Summary: “How to Catch a Dinosaur” features a vividly illustrated cover that screams chaotic fun. It’s perfect for kids with wild imaginations but might drive parents to the brink of insanity with its high-energy theme.
