“Lightning Strike” by William Kent Krueger. Ah, the title alone has me clutching my Bible and peeking out the window for signs of divine retribution. This cover with its ominous sky and the lone cyclist makes me think of God’s mighty power, ready to strike us down if we stray from the righteous path. But I must admit, the serene blue tones do give me a sense of calm…right before the storm! Maybe reading this book will be like a lightning strike to my spirit, awakening me to new revelations. Just hope it’s not too shocking!
