Pete and Alice in Maine

“Pete and Alice in Maine” by Caitlin Shetterly—well, bless my soul! Looks like Pete and Alice have decided to take their shenanigans up north. The cover gives us a serene Maine landscape, but I can’t help but wonder what sort of mischief these two might get into.

There they are, two chairs by the crashing waves, probably plotting something. Is it a romantic getaway or a secret rendezvous? Either way, I don’t approve of any hanky-panky under the guise of a peaceful retreat.

The artwork is quite charming, though. Those trees and the sunset? Absolutely divine. But let’s keep things respectable, Pete and Alice. We don’t need any scandalous stories coming out of Maine.

JABBIC Rating: ★★★☆☆

Summary: “Pete and Alice in Maine” by Caitlin Shetterly features a tranquil cover that belies the potential drama between Pete and Alice. The serene Maine setting might just be the backdrop for some less-than-holy activities.
