Random in Death by J.D. Robb – Ah, another thrilling installment from J.D. Robb. This cover has all the makings of a suspenseful journey, complete with a mysterious figure cloaked in the shadows of an alley. The giant leaf superimposed over the scene adds a touch of nature’s unpredictability – much like the random nature of crime itself. Now, I can’t help but think that perhaps some divine intervention is needed here. The thought of wandering down a dark alley like this gives me the chills. I’ve seen a few shady characters in my congregation, but nothing like this! Perhaps it’s a sign that we need more streetlights and fewer dark corners in our lives.

Rating: ★★★★☆

Summary

A gripping and ominous cover that sets the stage for another page-turner from J.D. Robb. Perfect for those who like a dose of mystery with their theology.
