Ah, “Rising Out of Hatred” by Eli Saslow. Well, isn’t this a delightfully somber cover? It’s got all the charm of a minimalist art exhibit with none of the whimsy. The gradient from dark to light—symbolic, yes, but I can’t help but think it looks like my printer is running out of ink. It’s clear, concise, and, dare I say, a bit stark. If I were to judge a book by its cover (which, regrettably, I am), I’d say it’s going for a serious tone. Let’s hope the former white nationalist had an awakening as enlightening as this cover’s gradient suggests.
Rating: ★★★★☆
Summary: A minimalistic, gradient cover that looks like a printer’s worst nightmare but hints at a serious, transformative journey.
