JABBIC – Judge A Book By Its Cover

Saint X

Saint X

“Saint X” by Alexis Schaitkin. This cover looks like it was designed by someone who got their hands on a 64-pack of Crayola crayons and just couldn’t decide which colors to use. Is this a mystery novel or a tropical vacation brochure? Either way, the palm tree screams “beach read” while the neon colors say “you might need sunglasses for this one.” And “Saint X”? Sounds like a title for a superhero nun. Let’s hope the inside is as thrilling as the outside is blindingly vibrant.

Rating: ★★★☆☆

Summary: A cover that promises a tropical adventure with a splash of mystery, all wrapped up in a neon package.
