“The Nix” by Nathan Hill. This cover jumps out at you like my aunt’s banana pudding at a family picnic. The bold, colorful letters make me think of a comic book, but then there’s a crowd of people in black and white below. Are they fans? Protesters? Both? It’s like someone mashed up a superhero story with a vintage political rally. I bet there’s more action in this book than a Saturday night at the roller derby. Looks intriguing enough to grab a seat and see what all the fuss is about!
