The Summer We Started Over

Reviewed by Nancy Thayer

Oh, look at this! “The Summer We Started Over” by Nancy Thayer. Two women, barefoot on a boardwalk, heading towards the beach at sunset. It’s like they’re walking into a dreamscape of serenity and new beginnings. I can almost hear the waves and smell the salty air.

The colors are so soothing – that pastel sunset sky! It’s practically whispering, “Come find your zen.” And those outfits, perfectly casual-chic. This cover screams relaxation and self-discovery. Maybe it’s about two friends or sisters reconnecting and healing old wounds. A journey of self-discovery, letting go of past troubles, and embracing the present. I need this book, a beach, and some essential oils, stat!

JABBIC Rating: ★★★★☆

Summary: “The Summer We Started Over” cover is a beautiful invitation to relaxation and new beginnings. It’s serene, inviting, and hints at a heartfelt story of renewal and connection.
