Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow

Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin – This cover, with its retro wave design and repetitive title, feels like it’s both stuck in a time loop and riding a tidal wave. It’s almost as if the Great Wave off Kanagawa got a neon makeover for the modern age. Now, I don’t know about you, but as a man of faith, when I hear “tomorrow” repeated thrice, I think of the endless waiting for the rapture. Yes, I know it’s a bit different context here, but it’s hard not to get a little impatient for the ultimate divine event when you see a title like this. This cover makes me feel like I’m waiting for the end times in a very stylish 80s arcade.

Rating: ★★★★☆
